Metallic Self-lubricating Bearings

JBM-650

Cast Bronze Bearings with Graphite Plugs

JBM-650 product
PRODUCT OVERVIEW

Features & Benefits

The JBM-650 is a heavy-duty self-lubricating bearing system designed for extreme operating conditions where oil film maintenance is difficult or impossible. It combines the high load-carrying capacity of a cast bronze alloy with the low-friction properties of embedded solid lubricants. This bearing provides maintenance-free operation, excellent wear resistance, and superior corrosion protection. It is particularly effective in low-speed, high-load applications involving reciprocating, oscillating, or intermittent motion, and can withstand a wide temperature range from -40°C to +300°C (depending on lubricant type).

MATERIAL COMPOSITION

Structure

JBM-650 structure
Layer Material Thickness Function
Cast Bronze Base with Solid Lubricant Plugs Solid Cast The structure consists of a strong cast bronze-based metal matrix acting as the load-bearing component, with special solid lubricants (such as Graphite or PTFE+MoS2) embedded as plugs. During operation, these plugs transfer a solid lubricant film to the mating surface, enabling self-lubrication without the need for external oil or grease.
