Metal-Polymer Composite Bearings

JBM-22

Steel Bronze Powder with PVDF/PTFE

JBM-22 product
PRODUCT OVERVIEW

Features & Benefits

The JBM-22 utilizes a specialized PVDF/PTFE resin formulation that offers superior wear resistance and low friction characteristics. The bearing surface is engineered with lubrication pockets (circular indents) to retain grease, optimizing performance. A key advantage is its machinability; the resin liner can be bored or reamed after press-fitting to achieve tight dimensional tolerances. Compared to standard POM-based materials (like JBM-20), this PVDF composition offers a broader operational range and enhanced performance.

MATERIAL COMPOSITION

Structure

JBM-22 structure
Layer Material Thickness Function
1 PVDF/PTFE 0.30~0.50mm Offers high wear resistance and low friction. The surface features circular lubrication pockets for grease retention and is machinable post-assembly to achieve precise tolerances.
2 Sintered bronze powder 0.20-0.35mm Ensures maximum thermal conductivity away from the bearing surface and serves as a mechanical anchor for the resin mixture.
3 Low-carbon steel Base Delivers exceptionally high load-carrying capacity and excellent heat dissipation.
